steve negrón’s paintings express desires, fears, and mischievous intentions. a mild-mannered college administrator by day, he is otherwise found in his home studio in lynn, massachusetts. negrón was the featured artist in the october 2012 edition of north shore art*throb magazine and was selected to be the first featured artist of the downtown lynn cultural district website in 2013.
an educator and award winning artist, negrón has shown his paintings in numerous exhibitions in the northeast including the tusinski gallery in rockport, davis art gallery in worcester, chameleon gallery in newburyport, the school of the museum of fine art in boston, montserrat college of art, in beverly, parsons school of design in new york, new york, the lynn museum and lynnarts in lynn, hall haskell house in ipswich, the salem arts association in salem, and the marblehead arts association in marblehead.
