Haig Demarjian has been relentlessly printmaking, drawing and painting for over 25 years. Trained primarily as a printmaker, he earned his undergraduate degree from Middlebury College and received his MA and MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His artwork has been exhibited internationally and spans a broad range of media from fine art to commercial illustration. His prints are regularly included in group exhibitions and portfolios as well as in traveling shows such as the Engraving 2009 print portfolio, the Southern Graphics Council International Juried Members Show, and Impressions 2018 at Montgomery College in Maryland. Additionally, he co-masterminded the independent feature film Die You Zombie Bastards! which has won awards, been screened all over the globe and been available on DVD for well over a decade. Unable to settle on a single medium, he also spent a few years writing and drawing the adventures of his comic book creation Super Inga. Currently all of these aspects of his work are colliding, expanding his cinematic and comic book creations into giant woodcuts, blacklight reactive screenprints and more. He is a tenured Professor of Art + Design at Salem State University.
