The Essex County Artist Fund is Essex County Community Foundation’s response to the immediate and everyday needs of artists to be supported and lifted up across the county and across sectors. Creative Practice: I have been a recording and touring artist with electro-folk Tall Heights since 2013. I play the guitar and sing.
Artist Statement: I believe that voices from the artist community can be strong drivers of cultural change. I’ve tried to use my platform to speak to issues I’m passionate about, including mitigating climate change, and showing compassion for migrant families at the US/Mexico border.
