Come help us celebrate 40 years collecting, preserving, sharing, and animating the history and heritage of Lawrence and its people!
The Lawrence History Center was founded in 1978 as the Immigrant City Archives. We are celebrating our 40th anniversary with an open house at our ‘home’ in the former Essex Company headquarters at 6 Essex Street in Lawrence, Massachusetts.
Join us on Saturday, September 29, 2018 for tours of the archive, a blacksmithing demonstration, historic photography walking tours, pop-up talks by local historians, and more!
