Desdemona: a play about a handkerchief

For one performance only, Third Citizen Theatre Company presents a free, pay-what-you-wish staged reading of Paula Vogel’s Desdemona: a play about a handkerchief to benefit Salem HAWC.

Featuring three actresses from TCTC’s Othello in fun-house-mirror versions of their roles, this smart, raunchy, feminist comedy asks the question: is there such a thing as friendship between women?

A portion of funds raised will benefit Salem HAWC (Healing Abuse, Working For Change).

Directed by: Morgan Flynn

Desdemona: Ashley Skeffington
Emilia: Jillian Blevins
Bianca: Morgan Flynn

Featured speakers: Sara Moore, Associate Professor of Gender, Sexuality and Family
