UMASS Lowell faculty colleagues, violinist Mark Latham, pianist Jacob Hiser, and cellist John Bumstead, started delving into the piano trio repertoire three years ago. This program features Mendelssohn’s masterpiece in d minor as well as pieces from a collection called, ‘Miniatures’, by Frank Bridge. Latham is a sought-after conductor and Music Director of New Hampshire Philharmonic. Hiser not only incorporated jazz and improv into his teaching and performance, but also into his

Bumstead enjoys crossing over for the big productions down the street at North Shore Music Theater.
