Join us for Joan & Joni, a live stream performance of the music of Joni Mitchell and Joan Baez.
Joan & Joni is a performance of the music of Joni Mitchell and Joan Baez by singer-songwriters Allison Shapira and Kipyn Martin. Allison and Kipyn’s power comes from their authenticity as performers; they touch people not just through their music but also through their passion and drive to inspire and connect with their audience. They perform a collection of timeless songs by Joan Baez and Joni Mitchell and reveal a few hidden gems from Joan and Joni’s respective albums.

LOCATION
First Congregational Church, 12 School Street, Rockport, MA 01966
PARKING INFO
There is paid parking on School Street, Main Street, Broadway, and other downtown streets. There are kiosks on School Street and Main Street, and word is kiosks will soon replace the meters on Broadway Rates and time limits vary. The kiosks accept credit cards and quarters, and the meters accept only quarters. The paid spaces are almost always occupied in the summer when the weather is good.
There is free parking on the streets just out of the downtown area on School Street, Main Street, High Street, and others. Many of these spaces are a short walk from the church. These spaces are also in high demand during tourist season.
There is parking for Rockport residents on T Wharf and in the lot near Town Hall just off Broadway, both of which are a short walk from the church. Do not park in resident-only areas unless your car bears a Rockport parking sticker. The Rockport police are zealous about defending resident-only parking.
Rockport offers a Park ‘n Ride service during the busiest times of the year. The Park ‘n Ride lot is adjacent to the transfer station on upper Main Street, about a mile from the downtown. Parking is free, and the Cape Ann Transportation Authority offers an inexpensive shuttle service between the Park ‘n Ride lot and the downtown.
