Salem Film Fest is the largest all-documentary international film festival in Massachusetts. The 13th edition takes place March 20 – 29, 2020 in over a half dozen venues in Salem, Beverly and Peabody, MA.

Salem Film Fest engages audiences and filmmakers in a dialogue that strengthens our sense of community and fosters a better understanding of our world through the art of documentary film.  

 In 2019, almost two-thirds of filmmakers (from the USA and overseas) participated in q&a’s after their screenings, as well as forums and visits to local schools.

PARKING INFO

To park, you may use the parking garage on New Liberty Street. In addition, there is a municipal parking lot on nearby St. Peter Street, and a smaller garage on Derby Street, at the corner of Hawthorne Boulevard and Derby Street, three blocks from the museum. Limited on-street parking is available around Salem Common and at two-hour meters.
