Salem State Writers Series presents Ernesto Quiñonez

The Salem State Writers Series welcomes acclaimed novelist, essayist, screenplay writer, and oral storyteller for the Moth.

Ernesto Quiñonez is a product of public education from kindergarten to his Master’s at the City College of New York. He is a novelist, a Sundance Screenwriters Lab Fellow, a featured storyteller for The Moth, and an associate professor at Cornell University. In 2000 The New York Times listed his debut novel Bodega Dreams, as a “New Immigrant Classic” and is now required reading in many colleges around the country.
