Music for string quintet by Mendelssohn, Brahms, Dvorak, and others.
We think the often overlooked, “middle child” of the string world, deserves some TLC. Join us in a concert celebrating the viola! Featuring the complete Telemann Viola Concerto in G Major as well as movements from viola quintets by Dvorak, Brahms, and Mozart, enjoy an evening filled with the warm, rich tones of the string world’s unsung hero.

Before each concert at the Barn at Castle Hill, audience members are cordially invited to arrive an hour early with a picnic and relax in the walled garden in front of the Barn. Please be advised – as dictated by our liquor license, only alcohol supplied by our vendor is permitted on the premise.
