SHADOWS ON THE WALLS by Robert Fetterman (Worcester, Massachusetts)
DRESS BLUES by Christopher Locke (New York)
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE by Joseph Pete (Indiana)

The plays are being directed by Salem State theatre faculty Esme Allen, Sara Conlon (Amesbury), Alex Jacobs (Melrose), and Matthew Korahais (Beverly) and are cast with actors from Salem State’s theatre department.
The festival is the brainchild of Salem State theatre professor Julie Kiernan. Kiernan has worked with Salem State’s many student veterans, including those in the university’s Veterans Learning Community and Veterans Writers Group. Designated a Military Friendly School by G.I. Jobs, a Top College and University by Military Advanced Education, and a Best for Vets College by Military Times, Salem State values our military connected students and their families and is committed to supporting veterans’ voices on and off campus.
Each performance will include all eight plays and a post-show conversation facilitated by Kiernan, the directors, the playwrights and others.
Playwright Robert Fetterman will be at the September 19 performance.
Playwright Ray Arsenault will be at the September 21 performance.
