Opened in April 2018, Peabody’s Black Box represents a partnership between the Northeast Arc, the City and area business and cultural organizations. Serving as an anchor of Peabody’s downtown cultural district, Peabody’s Black Box provides state-of-the-art space for theater, comedy, dance, film, music, poetry and other performances.
The Black Box is much more than a theater, however. It offers extremely versatile space, with a capacity of 238, that can be used for a variety of events including:
-Weddings and Anniversaries
-Birthday parties
-Meetings
-Film Screening
-Fundraising events
-Comedy nights
-Baptisms, First Communions, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs
